- Captive Pallet
- The pallet is held down over the conveyor, preventing the operator from being able to tip or remove it.
- Chain Clips
- Filler plates between rollers on a chain, preventing debris or other small parts from falling between the rollers and damaging the chain.
- Divert
- A method of diverting pallets or product from one lane of a conveyor to another.
- Dual Lane
- Two conveyor strands running side by side, allowing access to the pallet in the middle from above or below the conveyor.
- Lift and Locate
- A method of lifting the pallet accurately to a predetermined location so a robot or machine can perform an operation on it.
- Merge
- A method of combining to conveyor lanes into one.
- Palletized
- Carrying a product from process to process on a pallet.
- Puck
- A guide disk attached to the underside of a pallet.
- Rotate
- A device to reorient a product or pallet.
- Single Lane
- A conveyor with just one strand.
- Static Dissipative
- The ability to slowly dissipate stored charge in the part, pallet or conveyor to ground.
- Synchronous
- All work pallets index together from station to station.
- Transfer
- A device that performs a perpendicular transfer or a part or pallet from one conveyor to another.
- Tunnel Station
- A device that lifts a pallet above the conveyor, allowing another pallet to pass underneath it.
- Twin Strand
- Two conveyor strands running side by side, allowing access to the pallet in the middle from above or below the conveyor.
